About the Role

At Synechron, we are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and services that meet the needs of our users and business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in object-oriented programming, microservices architecture, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Python.
  • Implement microservices architecture to enhance application scalability and maintainability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to continually enhance development processes.

About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)

The ideal candidate must have proven experience as a Python Developer and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Key skills include:

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask or Django and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

nice to have, but not required:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
