About the Role

Ready to break boundaries in the analytical world? Accelerate your ML engineering career by working as a ML(ops) engineer at some of our clients, such as Lely, ING, ASML, or KLM, on challenging projects. Your responsibilities include helping data-driven teams build production-ready, scalable machine learning systems and improving the automated ML pipelines that focus on scalability, usability, and performance.

Training and Responsibilities

The role starts with 2 full-time weeks of hands-on bootcamp training focused on writing deployable code, containerization, ML(ops) engineering, and cloud fundamentals. Following training, you will participate in projects, working 4 days a week as a ML(ops) Engineer at companies such as Heineken and Rabobank. Every Thursday, you are required at the Xccelerated office in Amsterdam for ongoing training and project support from our technical leads.

Candidate Expectations

From a personal perspective, candidates should be customer-focused with a strong can-do mentality. You should aim for results and enjoy completing challenging tasks while learning on the job. Desired qualifications include:

  • A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g., Data Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence)
  • 3-4 years of work experience as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist
  • Solid statistical knowledge and ability to monitor end-to-end systems
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or Kubernetes.
