About the Role
In this permanent position, you will be responsible for the software development of customer-centric industrial systems. You will work on control technology for machines and complete process lines, starting with the creation of functional designs and concluding only once the software is tested, validated, and successfully operational on-site. Your duties include programming PLCs and SCADA environments, executing on-site commissioning both domestically and internationally, and providing remote or on-site support for malfunctions and service inquiries. Your work directly influences the efficiency, safety, and future-proofing of industrial processes.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining software for control systems of industrial machines and installations.
- Programming PLCs and SCADA packages and integrating them into existing or new systems.
- Creating functional designs (FDS) and translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Testing software on-site or remotely and performing commissioning for clients both locally and abroad.
- Providing support for malfunctions, both remotely and on-location.
About the Candidate
We seek candidates living in the Netherlands who possess Dutch language proficiency. You should have completed an mbo or hbo degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Control Technology. Experience with Siemens PLC systems and SCADA packages is essential, while knowledge of MS SQL or higher programming languages is a plus. Familiarity with current standards and regulations within industrial automation is expected. Clear communication, precision, and solution-oriented thinking are key attributes for this role. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of German is a bonus.
