About the Role

VirtueTech Recruitment Group is searching for a Golang Developer (Backend Engineer) for a fast-growing data-led organization focused on influencer marketing. Responsibilities include:

  • Predict campaign performance
  • Measure and benchmark key metrics
  • Capture audiences from social to site
  • Predict purchase power and ROI

You will take a hands-on approach in designing, developing, delivering, and testing applications critical for maximizing the value of data across the business. The firm's operations are fully cloud-based and they leverage a greenfield tech stack, allowing for the development of bespoke cloud-native solutions.

About the Candidate

The successful Golang Backend Engineer will:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Golang cloud-native services within a containerized microservices architecture
  • Play a significant role in implementing new technologies and improving ways of working
  • Work collaboratively with other Golang engineers during the decision-making process regarding technical and architectural aspects
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of your projects from concept to deployment, including infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Skills required:

  • Experience with authentication domains (Auth0 or AuthN preferred)
  • Proficient in backend Golang using PubSub, Dataflow, and BigQuery
  • Support the implementation of feature flagging
  • Improve the developer experience with CI/CD upgrades
