Are you a seasoned Java Backend Developer with a passion for building high-performance video streaming platforms? Do you have a deep understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and a knack for crafting scalable backend architectures? If so, we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for a Backend Java Developer to join our growing team working on cutting-edge video streaming solutions. You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing robust backend services with a strong focus on CMS integration and optimization. This is a high-impact position with autonomy and growth potential.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Java
- Develop and optimize APIs for video streaming workflows and CMS integrations
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Optimize performance for high-load media delivery systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmaps
- Ensure code quality with best practices in testing, CI/CD, and documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience
- Hands-on experience with video streaming platforms (live or VOD)
- Strong knowledge of CMS architecture and integration (e.g., headless CMS, custom solutions)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend scalability
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with media encoding, DRM, or video delivery networks (CDNs)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform
- Previous remote work experience in an agile team
