About the Role

In this contract opportunity, based in Toronto, ON, the C++ Developer will be responsible for implementing solutions and coordinating the production process migration with support teams. The role involves assisting with user adoption of technology solutions by facilitating user training and liaising with relevant development personnel to enhance the user experience. Key responsibilities also include:

  • Revamping existing technology to enhance scalability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Participating in the design and development of tools necessary to support pricing infrastructure and related business areas.
  • Proactively identifying system deficiencies and engaging relevant technical and business partners to develop corrective actions.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting system/software deficiencies, while improving production support documentation and tooling.

About the Candidate

Must-Have Skills:

  • 8 years of hands-on experience in Capital Markets software development.
  • Proficiency in C# and C++, particularly in a multithreaded programming environment.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture, SQL Server, JSON, XML, web services, Kubernetes, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with DataSynapse Grid, Python, and Equity Derivative Products.
  • Experience with KEDA and working within production environments.
