Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Infrastructure Engineer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be responsible for:

Software Engineering

  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.

Infrastructure Engineering

  • Maintain and evolve application cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Maintain and evolve Kubernetes clusters.
  • Ensure infrastructure hardening according to compliance and security.

OpenSearch Expertise

  • Scale OpenSearch clusters for heavy query workloads.
  • Implement effective sharding strategies and performance tuning.
  • Design disaster recovery solutions with replication and restoration procedures.
  • Deploy and manage self-hosted OpenSearch clusters in Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
  • 7+ years industry experience.
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Linux networking/security.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Go, Python, Java or Ruby.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
