About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SCADA Engineer to support Control Centre Operations and lead SCADA system integration and commissioning efforts. The position is located in Edmonton, AB, and follows a hybrid work model (Mon/Tue/Thu in-office, Wed/Fri remote). The duration of the contract is 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate projects into SCADA production.
- Support SCADA platforms including OASyS, PROCYS/RTAP, and Cygnet.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in system commissioning and participate in a 24/7 support rotation.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to best practices.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in SCADA or Control Systems. Candidates must be proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and Perl, and possess familiarity with operating systems like UNIX/Linux/Windows. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
