About the Role
Are you a technologist Platform Engineer with Kubernetes expertise? You could be progressing your career working on complex and technically challenging systems with continual learning opportunities at a global FinTech.
As a Platform Engineer, you'll join a small team responsible for delivering and managing business critical services used 24x7 by clients and colleagues across the globe. Your responsibilities will include proactive monitoring of production environments, design and implementation of automation processes, leading incident response efforts, and collaborating with senior business stakeholders to gather requirements.
About the Candidate
Expectations:
- You have strong Platform Engineering or DevOps experience, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and hands-on experience in deploying at scale is essential.
- Experience in running 24x7 services in Azure (AWS or GCP experience acceptable).
Nice to Have Skills:
- A deep understanding of cloud infrastructure including best practices around monitoring and security tools.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python, and knowledge of basic networking protocols.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Pulumi or Terraform, and microservices environments is preferred.
