About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer who will work in Krakow, closely collaborating with teams from Sweden and the US. With a strong focus on excellent software engineering skills, you will contribute to our global initiative in developing industrial IoT platforms. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing and developing front-end solutions for our modern enterprise-class offerings, which are available as both Cloud (SaaS) and on-premises versions. The role entails supporting the creation of architecture/design blueprints, technology roadmaps, and ensuring best software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing frontend for a modern, enterprise-class solution available as Cloud (SaaS) and on-premises versions, based on microservice architecture using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Supporting the preparation of architecture/design blueprints or lightweight whitepapers.
  • Collaborating with the PO and PMs on the technology roadmap and feature strategic direction.
  • Working with the UI/UX team on product user experience design and technical feasibility assessments.
  • Driving best software development practices, ensuring high code quality through unit tests, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Engaging in an Agile development environment as part of a cross-disciplinary team.
  • Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members.

About the Candidate

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong knowledge of the React ecosystem, including State Management, Routing, and Internationalization.
  • Proficiency in:
    • ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript,
    • Redux or any State Management library,
    • HTTP protocol and experience with REST API data transactions,
    • GIT version control system.
  • Experience in CI/CD practices and related tools.
  • Background in designing modern web applications with unit testing techniques and within an Agile environment.
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills in English.
