Senior PHP-developer (Nederlands-sprekend)

About the Role

As a Senior PHP-developer at Registratiesysteem DAS, you will set the standard for architecture, development, and team growth. You will be working on a platform that is utilized daily by individuals in the welfare sector, including caregivers and coordinators. Your efforts will help them achieve more effective workflows, enabling more genuine interactions with clients. Your contributions will have real impact. No technical clutter; the foundation is solid. We make use of modern tools, well-organized code, and maintain a clean environment with short lines of communication. You won’t need to submit a ticket to discuss an idea.

Responsibilities

• Translate client and internal team needs into a secure and scalable architecture.
• Conduct R&D for new possibilities (AI, integrations, development processes, etc.).
• Make long-term technology choices.
• Lead a team of experienced backend and frontend developers (no juniors to guide).
• Write and optimize code.
• Collaborate with sales, customers, and partners regarding new features and integrations.

About the Candidate

Must-have competencies:

• Proficiency in PHP 8: In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture (including SOLID principles, services, ORM, dependency injection, middleware, etc.).
• Deep understanding of a web framework; if you are not familiar with Laravel, you will quickly learn it.
• Extensive experience with SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL/others).
• Extensive experience with cloud services (GCP or AWS or Azure).
• Knowledge of Docker Compose.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• You enjoy writing tests and documenting your code and architecture.
• Excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written.

Nice to have:

• Frontend experience with Vue, Nuxt, Typescript, NodeJS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Capacitor.
