About the Role
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Nutmeg, you will work towards building a premier suite of mobile apps for optimal investment experiences. This role encompasses collaboration with the Product team to understand user needs and develop product features within an Agile framework. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring the code meets quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product team to comprehend user needs and contribute to product feature development.
- Participate in architectural design discussions to ensure our system meets business requirements.
- Take responsibility for tasks throughout the development process, from estimation to production.
- Troubleshoot existing defects and deliver solutions effectively.
- Write tests for all code while upholding best coding practices to guarantee high quality.
- Involve in code reviews, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
- Propose and contribute to technical initiatives aimed at enhancing our toolset and existing codebase.
About the Candidate
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in English for collaboration with the London-based team.
- Experience in native iOS application development with Swift and Xcode.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks, such as XCTest.
- Understanding of MVVM and Coordinator design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in UI testing and building Design Systems.
- Familiarity with mobile application's security considerations and accessibility requirements.
- Exposure to the FinTech sector and development of features using React Native.
