Responsibilities

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, operating, scaling, maintaining and evolving Workato enterprise-grade storage infrastructure. You will work closely with all engineering & infrastructure teams in Workato leading our global storage story for different use cases and enterprise-grade latency-critical requirements. You will have a direct long-term strategic impact on the modernization of the Workato architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing solutions utilizing distributed storage systems, particularly Redis.
• Contributing significantly to the storage infrastructure as code and monitoring frameworks.
• Analyzing system performance and trends, ensuring reliability and smooth operation.
• Implementing modern techniques and tools for troubleshooting and optimization.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience deploying and supporting scalable distributed enterprise-grade in-memory data stores.
• Experience with operating and scaling clustered Redis environments and understanding of the Redis ecosystem including modules and Sentinel.
• Skills in optimizing Redis memory, enforcing data strategies, and executing zero-downtime upgrades.
• Knowledge of security compliance for Redis as well as managing complex infrastructures in cloud environments.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

• Good communication skills and readiness to collaborate with remote teams across different time zones.
• Interest in modern storage technologies and architectures with a good command of English for technical discussions.
