About the Organisation
To strengthen the team, this small and informal organization is looking for a Python developer with a strong sense for UX/UI design. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced developers on a complex, in-house software product, all within a close-knit and motivated team. This company develops powerful and user-friendly SaaS solutions for lawyers and legal professionals.
The team currently supports over 250 clients across Europe and beyond. Consisting of 25 colleagues across development, support, and consultancy — including a small team in Poland and one colleague in Sweden who supports onboarding locally. There are no rigid departments: everyone works full stack and contributes to the overall product.
The company culture is open and built on trust. They measure output, not hours. Work hours are flexible; you can start your day anytime between 7:00 and 10:00 AM and enjoy breaks or handle personal matters as long as the work gets done.
About the Role
You’ll be working in a multidisciplinary team consisting of a lead developer, one senior, and five medior developers, alongside three colleagues based in Poland. You'll contribute to the further development of the proprietary software platform, applying your UX/UI instincts to create intuitive and effective solutions. You care about quality, can anticipate risks, and always consider the end user in your approach.
The team is independent and highly professional. There is a short daily stand-up (10:00 AM), regular pair-programming sessions, and a mature development process — all code is reviewed before going live.
Tech Stack
- Backend: Python, Django, MySQL, Linux
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
Your Profile
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a software developer
- Solid knowledge of Python (Django experience is a plus)
- Strong affinity with UX/UI design
- Analytical thinker with the ability to keep a clear overview
- Fluent in both Dutch and English

- Salary range: €4,000 – €5,500 gross per month (depending on experience)
