Responsibilities
- Deliver impact by driving innovation while building and shipping software at scale.
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to up-level the engineering organization.
- Actively improve the level of craftsmanship at LinkedIn by developing best practices.
- Serve as a technical lead for multiple key initiatives, identifying problems and leading teams.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to execute the vision for long-term success.
- Work with the open-source community to influence cutting-edge projects.
About the Candidate
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience.
- 5+ years in software design and development.
- 5+ years of programming experience in Rust or C++.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Experience in large-scale systems and client-server architectures.
- Familiarity with technologies such as GraphQL, gRPC, Kubernetes, etc.
- Proven leadership in technical roles and experiences with project management.
