The Opportunity:
Join us as a Software Engineer at Visa, where you will work on solving complex challenges and building software products that have a global impact. You'll be part of a multi-functional team dedicated to shaping the future of monetary transactions through innovative payment technology.
The Work Itself:
- Understand business domain and analyze requirements.
- Design, develop, code, test, and maintain software solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in technology proof-of-concept activities and explore new technologies.
- Enhance coding guidelines and engage in code reviews.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide rotational on-call support as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant work experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Proficiency in C++, NodeJS, or Golang, along with knowledge in frontend technologies like Angular or React.
- Excellent programming abilities and willingness to work on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Mainframe).
- Strong collaborative skills, driven and resourceful.
- Experience or interest in AI and generative AI is a plus.
