About the Role

As a Junior Technical Sales Specialist at IBM, you will be part of a professional team that assists clients across Europe in adopting advanced technologies. You will work closely with various IBM representatives and specialists to develop your skills and expertise across multiple technologies.

Your Responsibilities

In your role, you will act as a deep technical subject matter expert for IBM Automation software projects. This involves:

  • Helping clients design solutions addressing their business challenges.
  • Providing technical ownership of projects and ensuring technical accuracy.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
  • Initiating new opportunities and showcasing IBM's value-add offerings.
  • Coordinating pre-sales activities and delivering technical support as required.
  • Continuously learning through enablement programs and coursework.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (preferred an Associate's Degree or College Diploma).
  • Code development experience in Java, JavaScript, or related languages.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, managed Kubernetes offerings, and other technologies such as JSON and XML.
  • Experience in presenting IT solutions effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, fluent in Dutch, French, and English. A driving license is also required.
