About the Role

Do you have expertise with Next.js combined with start-up / SME experience? You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a technology start-up that is producing a software suite for legal firms that massively reduces para-legal workloads. They have seen huge interest in the product and have a lot of greenfield development work to get stuck into.

As a Next.js Engineer, you'll join a small technology team and take ownership of front-end development work. There are a range of projects, and you'll see the results of your work quickly while inputting into technical decision making. You'll mainly be working with Next.js, TypeScript, and React, collaborating with backend engineers using Python within an AWS environment.

About the Candidate

Expectations

  • You have expertise with Next.js
  • You possess strong TypeScript and React front-end development skills
  • You have full software development lifecycle experience along with a solid knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
  • You demonstrate good business acumen, with experience in start-ups or SMEs
  • You are degree educated in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline
  • You're able to start immediately

Nice to Have Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar impactful role
  • Familiarity with AWS environments

Location / WFH

You'll join a small but growing team based in Central Manchester three days a week, with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
