About the Role

Are you ready to turn your passion for working with brand new technologies into a new step in your career as a Kubernetes Engineer? At Avisi Cloud, you will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to optimize and automate processes with the most modern technologies. With your expertise, you will take responsibility to ensure that the customer environments in Kubernetes function as optimally as possible. Together with the customer and our development teams, you will ensure that our customer environments in Kubernetes continue to run smoothly and securely, allowing our developers to focus on delivering quality software.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include onboarding our customers, advising on the optimal configuration of their environments, and setting everything up along with your team. This encompasses:

  • Deployment pipelines
  • Application landscape setup
  • Network policies
  • Alerts and backup configuration You will develop standards and quality norms, perform audits, and continuously maintain customer environments and the underlying infrastructure. You will ensure that security upgrades are applied immediately and provide training to users to promote self-sufficiency with Kubernetes environments.

About the Candidate

You are someone with a true DevOps mindset, looking for continuous improvements in the way we configure environments and automate processes. You have at least five years of relevant experience with Kubernetes and are able to advise clients on this technology. Experience with Linux, networking, and infrastructure is essential. Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS) is also required. Additionally, it is a plus if you are familiar with tools/techniques like PostgreSQL, Terraform, nginx, TLS, Fortigate, Vsphere, Helm, FluxCD, RKE, Docker, Prometheus/Loki, Grafana, Gitlab, CI/CD.
