About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead teams of software engineers and QA resources to develop Big Data solutions on public cloud that serve US healthcare providers. You will manage both on-shore and off-shore engineers and ensure effective communication with business stakeholders regarding product schedules and risks. Your role will require you to be a hands-on technical leader, generating architectural proposals and collaborating with other architects.

About the Candidate

We expect our engineering managers to be tech leaders who are not only managing teams but also actively participating in coding and architectural decisions. Candidates should possess demonstrable experience leading Agile Delivery Teams. Strong technical expertise in programming languages like Python and Java, cloud technologies especially AWS and Azure, as well as experience with Big Data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark are essential. Comfort with coding and mentoring engineers will be a key to success in this position.
